High performance double shredding system for hard disks and other data carrier

This type of shredding machine is designed for the shredding of max. 3,5” hard disks, magnetic tapes, CD/DVD, video tapes, electronic boards, typewriter ribbon, retaining tape, mobile phones etc. JBF HD 15/40 Duo can be mounted optionally on guidable rollers for mobility.

18,5 mm knife width on pre and fine shredder cares for small particle sizes and thus for more data security. Knives are made of special galvanized steel for less wear and are individually exchangeable and regrindable. Knives with special layout for hard drive shredding (no modified paper shredding shafts).

The 2 x 3 kW drives with gear motors allow high cutting performance by its enormous torque. A low shaft speed of 11 rpm avoids sparking inside the cutting units. By direct drive of cutting shafts drive chains are not needed. This gives less maintenance need along with low dust sensitivity.

Auto reverse at overload with automatic restart on both shredding units. Machine stops after triple reverse. Space-saving location of electrical cabinet, integrated inside machine frame.

Secured feeding of material into the running shredder through special funnel with electrical safety switch according to the latest security regulations. Max. size of feeding parts: approx. 150 x 200 x 44 mm (l x w x h)
